In Te Ngahere I have been learning to do vertical algorithm subtraction in math. You have an equation like 281-169 you put the biggest number on the top. I think what I did well was trying to use my knowledge of subtraction to figure out the problem. I could try to do my work faster. Were I have crossed out the 7 and put a 6 on top I was borrowing because you can’t take 6 away from 0 I had to rename so I had 10 1’s instead of 1 10 . It looks like this.
Hi there AJ I'm Koda and I go to Kawakawa Primary School. I like this blog post because I recently did a maths blog, but mine was about fractions. I like that you have inserted a D.L.O that shows how you worked out your problem. Algorithms are a good way to solve problem, in fact my favourite way to solve addition and subtraction problem. But anyways I hope you have an extraordinary day and also if you are wanting to visit my blog, my blog address is here:
