In Te Ngahere on the first week of school on Thursday Tracy from swim safe came to see us to talk about being safe in the water and on boats. Tracy taught us lots of rules for going to the beach or river and going on a boat. Some of the most important rules when going to the beach or a river is to make sure you have a responsible adult watching you not a teenager who is just going to look at their phone, also if you don’t feel safe going into the water don’t go in. One of the most important rules when going on a boat is to make sure you are always wearing a life jacket even if you are only a few meters off the shore line. I made a DLO of the top five boat safety rules can you give me any feedback or tell me about any other boat rules that you think are a good idea to put on my DLO. Thank you.
Kia ora AJ it’s Ataahua. I really liked your post about your Dry land swimming. I like how you added what you were learning, and how you added a DLO to show the rules you were learning about from Tracy. This reminded me of when I had Tracy and taught me how to stay safe in the water.
ReplyDeleteWhat rule do you use the most?
Keep up the good work AJ. Have a good day.
